SparkLayer partners with Brightpearl to bring B2B ordering to Shopify merchants

When we set out to create SparkLayer, one of our goals was to make it as accessible as possible for Shopify merchants already using back office systems to manage their B2B operation. Today we're excited to announce the latest of our system integrations with globally leading retail operations system, Brightpearl.

Brightpearl has long held the reputation as being the system of choice for established and fast-growing brands using Shopify, providing a centralised location to manage inventory, orders, warehousing, fulfilment, accounting, and more. With a native, certified integration already with Shopify, merchants can connect their storefront with Brightpearl and automate their entire eCommerce operation.

The SparkLayer integration for Brightpearl takes this a step further, allowing any Shopify merchant with a B2B presence to offer seamless B2B ordering for their customers.

How it works

The integration makes setup as straightforward as possible and can even be adapted based on how merchants have Brightpearl configured. It works by first connecting to the merchant's Brightpearl account to access B2B data such as product pricing, pack sizing rules, min/max ordering quantities, and more.

Once the merchant has installed SparkLayer on their Shopify storefront, this B2B data will then display to customers when they sign in, allowing them to place trade orders with their special B2B pricing.

All successful orders are then sent from Shopify to Brightpearl and managed via the existing workflows the merchant has set up.
