SparkLayer launches barcode support, enabling retailers to streamline their B2B warehouse operations

Let’s imagine you’re looking to incorporate your warehouse more deeply into your B2B sales process. Or perhaps you have a retail store and you’d like your sales team to more easily build orders for B2B customers there and then, whilst keeping them engaged in the process.

Today, we're excited to announce another significant development at SparkLayer: the launch of barcode support, designed specifically for B2B operations! This new feature has been a long time coming and is a big step forward in simplifying and speeding up the order-building process for retailers.

Barcodes, also known as ISBN, UPC, or GTIN, are unique identifiers for products. They're found on almost everything you buy, from everyday groceries to books. Barcodes streamline the shopping experience and assist retailers in maintaining accurate inventory records.

With our new barcode support, any retailer using Shopify or BigCommerce alongside SparkLayer can now unlock their B2B operation to take advantage of more streamlined ways to build orders. Whether it’s done in a warehouse or retail store, barcode scanners can be integrated with SparkLayer’s rapid B2B ordering portal - and with one zap, begin building B2B orders!

This new feature also allows B2B customers themselves to search and add products to their order by barcode, bringing even more flexibility to SparkLayer’s built-in tools.
