Search. Add. Repeat - introducing SparkLayer's brand new search tool

We’ve just launched yet another new feature as part of our spring 2025 MEGA release! In case you missed it, our biggest reveal of all time shares 6 B2B features that are built to change the game.

This idea came about after multiple conversations with our SparkLayer customers about how their wholesale buyers interact with their stores. Brands found that customers wanted easier ways to add products to their carts - ideally without having to scroll through endless pages or browse entire collections.

So - we built it for them! Our new and improved eCommerce search tool transforms your cart into an interactive order-building experience. Customers can search for product names, SKUs and variants, and even scan barcodes using this tool. The cart search bar then pulls through all relevant products within your store for customers to choose from - it really is that simple.

Within the drop-down search results, customers can select from variants, sizes, and quantities, and view stock levels. This search widget also pulls through your pre-configured order rules and display settings - so, for example, if there’s a minimum order quantity for a product, customers will only be able to add that item to the basket in that quantity. This includes your settings for pack sizing and order rules, as well as how you display stock levels.

And don’t worry - we’ve got you covered when it comes to typos and spelling mistakes. Our intuitive tool will pull through relevant products within a margin of error - so, if a customer types ‘elefant’ rather than ‘elephant’, for example, any product descriptions that contain the word ‘elephant’ will still be pulled through. Clever, right?
