- Create price lists and customer groups
- Automate pricing from your retail catalogue
- Manage discounts, quantities and pack sizes
- Connect your ERP, CRM, accounting or integration platform

Sales reps can open any assigned customer account and place an order using that customer's live prices, terms and ordering rules. They can build or edit the order from a desk, during a customer visit or at a trade show. Once submitted, it goes straight into your store and includes the sales rep who placed it.
- Order on behalf of assigned customer accounts
- Adjust prices, shipping and minimum quantities where permitted
- Use B2B payment methods, including net terms
- Work across phone, tablet and desktop
- Track which sales rep placed each order
Your buyers place their own orders. They order whenever suits them, at their own prices, on the store you already run - and your team's time goes back into growing accounts.
Their own prices, their own terms.
Every account signs in to its own price list, payment terms and pack rules - trade pricing private, MSRP public.

Questions & Answers.
Features
Where can I see the full feature list?
The complete feature set is available in the SparkLayer documentation. Explore all features.
Does SparkLayer process payments?
SparkLayer uses the payment methods configured in your eCommerce platform rather than processing payments itself. You can offer B2B options such as payment on account and invoice, alongside online card payments where supported.
Do I need an ERP, PIM, CRM or integration platform?
No. You can manage customer accounts and pricing directly in the SparkLayer dashboard or upload the data using our import tools. If you already use backend systems, connect them through a ready-made integration, an integration platform or the SparkLayer API.
Will SparkLayer work with our existing ERP integration?
Often, yes. Orders placed through SparkLayer are created in your eCommerce store, so an ERP connection that already imports store orders may continue to work without changes. A deeper connection for customer-specific pricing, accounts or other B2B data may require additional integration work. Our team can review your setup with you.
Can I create price lists in SparkLayer?
Yes. Create price lists in the dashboard and add prices manually or upload them by CSV.
Can I automate B2B pricing from retail prices?
Yes. Pricing rules can calculate B2B prices from the prices in your eCommerce store. For example, you can apply a fixed percentage discount across an entire price list. Learn more.
Can I create B2B discounts and coupon codes?
Yes. The SparkLayer Discount Engine supports:
- Order-value discounts
- Percentage and fixed-value discounts
- Free-product offers
- Coupon codes
- Scheduled promotions
- Discounts for selected customer groups
These promotions can run alongside your normal B2B price lists.
Where can I see upcoming features?
See planned work on the quarterly roadmap and follow completed releases on the What's New page.
General
What can I do with SparkLayer?
SparkLayer gives you the core tools to run B2B ecommerce on your existing store. That includes customer-specific pricing and catalogues, payment terms, quick ordering, quoting, sales rep ordering, account management, order history, invoicing connections and more.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can try SparkLayer free for 14 days. No credit card is required to get started. Contact our team if you need more time to complete your evaluation.
Can I see a demo first?
Yes. Explore the interactive demo or book a live session with our team to see how SparkLayer would work with your store, customers and pricing.
How do I get started?
Create an account, connect your ecommerce platform and follow the guided setup. Our team provides free personalised onboarding to help you configure and launch SparkLayer.
Which ecommerce platforms and systems do you support?
SparkLayer works with Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce and Wix, along with a growing range of ERP, accounting and business systems. Explore our integrations to find your setup.
Can I use SparkLayer with a custom-built platform?
In many cases, yes. SparkLayer has an API-first architecture and can connect to custom ecommerce or back-office systems through SparkLayer Ignite. Talk to our team and we will help you assess the best approach.
How does SparkLayer compare with other B2B solutions?
SparkLayer adds a purpose-built B2B experience to the ecommerce setup you already have. That means you can offer advanced B2B ordering without replatforming or maintaining a separate trade store. See how SparkLayer compares.
Where is SparkLayer based, and what support is available?
SparkLayer is based in the UK and works with businesses around the world. Support is available through live chat and email, with personalised onboarding included to help you get set up. Enterprise customers can also choose a plan with a contractual 24/7 support SLA. Read our story.
Shopify already has B2B features. Why would I need SparkLayer?
SparkLayer works across Shopify plans and is designed for businesses that need a more complete B2B toolkit, including quoting, sales rep ordering, intelligent order capture, customer account tools and accounting integrations. SparkLayer also gives you a free way to start.
What makes SparkLayer different?
SparkLayer is built specifically around B2B buying and selling. Customers can order for themselves, sales teams can manage accounts and order on their behalf, and both experiences use the same products, pricing and connected systems.
Pricing
How much does SparkLayer cost?
SparkLayer offers a free plan and several paid plans based on the size and requirements of your B2B operation. View pricing.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise pricing is agreed according to factors such as:
- Expected order volumes
- Number of sales agents
- Complexity of your backend systems
- Storefront implementation requirements
- Level of onboarding and ongoing support
Enterprise includes a planned implementation covering configuration, data migration, integrations and launch. Annual agreements are also available.
What counts as a B2B order?
Only orders placed through SparkLayer count towards your SparkLayer order allowance. Retail orders placed through the same eCommerce store do not count.
How do I sign up and install SparkLayer?
Start a 14-day trial and follow the guided onboarding process to set up pricing, customer groups and storefront components. If you have more complex requirements, book a demo and our team will help plan the implementation.
Are there contracts or commitments?
Starter, Growth and Pro are monthly plans that you can cancel from the SparkLayer dashboard. Enterprise agreements usually have a longer term based on the agreed project and service requirements.
What happens if I exceed my order allowance?
SparkLayer will continue working. Our team will contact you to discuss whether another plan would be a better fit. Each order created through SparkLayer counts towards the allowance, including orders that are later cancelled or refunded.
Are there transaction fees for manual B2B payment methods?
SparkLayer does not add transaction fees to manual payment methods such as payment on invoice or request a quote. Online card payments remain subject to the fees charged by your eCommerce and payment providers.
Will I be billed in US dollars?
SparkLayer subscriptions are billed in US dollars. This matches the billing currency used by platforms such as Shopify and Shopify Plus.
How am I billed each month?
You can see your subscription and a breakdown of charges in the billing section of the SparkLayer dashboard. Shopify customers are billed through Shopify's own billing system.
Do you offer pricing for high-volume, low-value orders?
Yes. Contact our team to discuss a plan for B2B operations processing a large number of lower-value orders.
Setup & Installation
Can you install SparkLayer for me?
Yes. After signing up, you can ask our team to install SparkLayer for you. Standard installations are usually completed within one or two working days. Learn about installation.
How do I enable SparkLayer on my store?
Install the SparkLayer app for Shopify, Wix or BigCommerce, then follow the guided onboarding process to connect your products, pricing and customers. Our team is available if you need help at any stage.
How long does setup take?
A standard setup using SparkLayer's built-in pricing and customer tools can be completed within hours. Larger projects involving ERP connections, data migration or custom development take longer. For Enterprise implementations, we agree a project plan with you before work begins.
Can I run retail and B2B through the same store?
Yes. When a B2B customer signs in, SparkLayer shows the wholesale pricing and ordering features associated with their account. Retail visitors continue to use the normal storefront. Some businesses prefer a separate B2B storefront, and SparkLayer supports that setup too - we have a guide.
Can I use SparkLayer on a custom platform?
Yes, provided the platform can integrate with an external API. SparkLayer Ignite and the SparkLayer API are designed for custom implementations.
Do I manage my product catalogue in SparkLayer?
No. Products and categories remain in your eCommerce platform. SparkLayer connects B2B information such as customer-specific prices, pack sizes and ordering rules to each product using its SKU. Learn more.
Can I customise how SparkLayer looks?
Yes. You can change colours, fonts and spacing to match your existing website - see our guide. More advanced implementations can use the Frontend SDK to customise individual components.
Will SparkLayer slow down my website?
SparkLayer's B2B storefront components load asynchronously for signed-in B2B customers. Retail visitors do not load the B2B interface. This approach is designed to keep the effect on storefront performance to a minimum.
Do I need a developer to install SparkLayer?
Not for a standard installation. If you can access your storefront theme, you can follow the guided setup yourself, or ask our team to install it for you. Custom platforms and more complex Enterprise integrations may require development work.
Does SparkLayer work on mobile and tablet?
Yes. The SparkLayer storefront and ordering experience work across mobile, tablet and desktop.
